Columbia University’s Institute for the Study of Human Rights is pleased to announce that the following courses will be offered during the 2010 Summer Program:

Session I: May 24-July 2   

  • Introduction to Human Rights
  • International Law and Human Rights

Session II: July 6-August 13

  • Corporate Social Responsibility: A Human Rights Approach
  • Human Rights of Women

Coursework:

  • Courses are designed for advanced undergraduate and graduate students of all disciplines
  • Courses are taught by Columbia University and visiting faculty who are experts in human rights
  • Students can receive three academic credits for each class
  • Enrollment is limited to 22 students per class
