… the Campaign Against Female Genital Mutilation CAGeM will hold an Awareness Event on the International Day Against Female Genital Mutilation FGM to help raise awareness on this issue, also known as female circumcision: 

  • Africa Rising, a film on Female Genital Mutilation will be shown and guests will enjoy drinks with dinner;
  • The night will also feature a speaker, Soraya Mire, a survivor of female genital mutilation, author, filmmaker, and human rights worker.
