2. SEEKING TO EVALUATE A HUMAN RIGHTS EDUCATION PROGRAM
Dear Colleagues, Women for Womens Human Rights (WWHR) – New Ways is an independent women’s organization in Turkey. WWHR has been implementing a grassroots human rights training, the Human Rights Education Program for Women (HREP) since 1995. HREP is a 16 week comprehensive training program, combining non-formal training methods as well as sharing of information and knowledge. For more information about the program, you can see on WWHR.
We would like to conduct an external evaluation of HREP, mainly in order to evaluate the outcomes and the short term, mid-term, and long-term impacts of the training. We made a similar study in 2002, but the outcomes of the study fell short of demonstrating concrete outcomes and could not distinguish the short and long term impacts.
Right now we are searching for external evaluation studies, methods being used, and institutions/individuals implementing such studies, in order to develop a program for the thorough external evaluation of HREP. We would appreciate it if you could share with us your recommendations, sources that you know of, and/or examples of good external evaluation studies.
Many thanks in advance, Evre Kaynak, Coordinator, Women for Women’s Human Rights – New Ways, E-mail.

3. LOOKING FOR MATERIALS ON PRESCRIPTION FOR LIBERATION AND LIMITATION OF CRIMINAL PROSECUTION
Greetings dear colleagues, I am a postgraduate student from Macedonia and I am working on my thesis in criminal material law. I am looking for materials regarding the issue of the prescription for liberation and limitation of criminal prosecuting and penalties with passing of the time factor, which is a human right of the people prosecuted or already convicted in the national criminal legislation.
Thanks and looking forward for your answer. Aleksandar Markoski, E-mail.
